JIM COFFEY
Advisor
James Coffey is an experienced consultant and executive coach with over 30 years of experience working with public and private sector clients involving strategy execution, organizational development and performance management. He has lead consulting engagements involving strategy development, process reengineering, market competitive analysis, organizational realignment and corporate culture change. As part of his strategy work, he has facilitated executive workshops with CEOs, senior leadership and line managers developing organizational strategy and strategy management / performance management systems. He has lectured extensively internationally on strategy and been published by the Harvard Business School Press.
He has worked with clients such as Bonneville Power Administration, BC Hydro, and PEPCO on strategy, performance metrics and performance management. In addition, he has over 15 years’ experience in the power industry as a nuclear power plant performance evaluator with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, a manager at the Electric Power Research Institute and as a startup engineer with General Electric Nuclear. He was a licensed shift supervisor on the GE BWR 6 nuclear plant and SRO certified on Westinghouse and GE nuclear plants.
Mr. Coffey has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
